This weekend at Hogwarts proved to be a VERY busy one! I took a few classes for extra credit, did some studying, some leisure reading, but mostly, I had a TON of Homework! I'm still trying to finish up some homework before my next class, and then I have to run off to the muggle post, and then off to coach muggle cheer practice! I really need to find a good charm for energy! LOL!
Better late them never right? I didn't add the link b/c I didn't have the address off hand, but if you want the link you can visit Susie's Blog oh and she's the person who tagged me so I killed two birds with one stone (eww) so to speak! LOL!
O.k. random facts... 1. I really want another baby 2. I did ballet for 15 years, and for a gradual less amount (does that even make sense?) Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop...I also taught dance for a year. 3. I'm 15 lbs. from my goal weight, and for the first time in 3.5 years I weigh less than I did when I got pregnant with Coby. 4. I really truly believe my husband and I will celebrate our 75th wedding anniversary. 5. I run a home daycare which makes me absolutely insane...I love kids, but I think they have it in for me lately! 6. I should be knitting right now...and as always I'm behind on everything I need to be doing...maybe I should get off the computer! 7. I love cheetos...and lots of other junk food...which is why maybe those 15 lbs. are sticking around...that and I'm still breastfeeding so the increased size there isn't helping, oh and I love Christmas music...yes I know that's totally unrelated...that's just how I roll. LOL! =)
O.k. 7 random people...this will be tough b/c I don't know a ton of people who blog, but here goes...
Ugh! I was really looking forward to my weekend in Hogsmeade...new fibre, and needles, maybe a little butter beer...but something, or maybe even someone aparently had other plans! I have no idea how it happened, or where it came from but I started out by visiting my usual fibre shop, Elaines Yarns, where I got some beautiful fibre for socks and the sweetest little baby outfit, along with some new fibre tools, and a few gifts. Then I took the littles home, and went to choir practice, then to muggle Church service where I sang. The day was nice and went well...then I woke up the next morning with horrible stomach pain that only grew worse as the day drug on. I was twisting and writhing in pain, and on and off feeling the need to vomit...I was seriously wondering if some how I'd been "crucio'd" without knowing it! I didn't eat anything unusual, and pretty much everyone around me ate the same things I did, so I really couldn't figure out what was causing it, and I hadn't been around any one sick either. By the end of the day I found myself feeling somewhat better though, and by the next morning I was almost completely recovered and just feeling tired...I don't think I'll be going back to Hogsmeade all to soon though!

Taken from Harry Potter Wiki Sectumsempra is a Dark Magic curse invented by Severus Snape (under his alias of "The Half-Blood Prince") for use against his enemies, and it soon became one of his specialties. When uttered, its effect is the equivalent of an invisible sword, slashing the target repeatedly (as a sword would) and inflicting near-horrific scarring and internal bodily injuries, to the point they are disfigured or possibly killed. It works best on living targets (e.g. humans, animals, plants etc.), though has no noticeable effect on non-living or dead ones (e.g. rocks, walls, Inferi etc.)
The curse also has an anti-curse, also invented by Snape, but all that is known is that it is "an incantation that sounded almost like song", and sang in a "heavenly voice". The effects are immediate, as the worst of the curses' effects are removed near-instantly, and, combined with doses of Dittany, the scarring is reversed.

I am a Christian, wife, and mother of 4. I am a natural birth and breastfeeding advocate. I cloth diaper, recycle, babywear, knit, crochet, sew, scrapbook, needlefelt, make jewelry, like to cook and bake, homeschool, and blog about all of that and more right here! I overuse exclamation points because I'm so excited most of the time, and I might not always use correct spelling or punctuation. Thankfully God loves me in spite of my imperfections!
